Our Recruitment Process

So you've read a little about us and decided to apply for one of our current vacancies.
This page will explain what to do and what will happen at every step of your application.
Our recruitment process is just four straightforward steps that we keep as simple and stress free as possible:

step1

Step 1: Apply

Once you've found a job at ARAG that suits your skills and experience, follow the instructions on the advert itself. Some roles will have an online application form and some will require you to email us your CV and a covering letter. In both cases the process is short and simple.

Tip: If you're uploading or emailing us your CV make sure it's up to date and presents your relevant skills and experience to the best of your ability. We would prefer you send us CVs in a PDF or Microsoft Word compatible file format.

step2

Step 2: Selection

We take time to review every single application, comparing your skills and experience against the requirements of the role that you have applied for. If you meet these criteria then we will contact you to let you know if you've been shortlisted for interview and the format of that interview.

step3

Step 3: Your Interview

When we contact you to arrange your interview, we'll let you know the format. Your first interview might be over the phone or it might be at one of our offices, we will also let you know if there is anything you need to bring with you or whether you should expect a skills or psychometric test.

Our interviews tend to be largely competency based, so we would encourage you to spend some time preparing examples that highlight your experiences in the best possible light.

step4

Step 4: Your Offer

If your application is successful our People Services team will call you to discuss our offer. We'll also confirm this in writing together with a new joiner's pack which will explain your benefits in greater detail. If you accept our offer then we will begin the referencing and on-boarding process.

If you haven't been successful we'll let you know and, if you'd like, we'll provide some feedback as to why. This doesn't mean it's the end of the line for you and ARAG however, we would still encourage you to keep an eye on our vacancies page and apply again in the future.
