Further to the message from our Managing Director Tony Buss last week, we wanted to update you on our operations at this time. We will continue to keep you informed about our services and any important legal information throughout the current, national emergency.

We are continuing to take precautionary measures to protect all of our staff while, at the same time, continuing to serve our policyholders.

  • Our assistance services for both Home Emergency Solutions and Motor Breakdown Solutions are operating normally, with employees in those functions having been confirmed as key workers.
  • We are working closely with partners in our third-party supply chain, who are adopting similar measures to ensure that our services are maintained.
  • We are still seeing a significant increase in the number of calls that our legal advice helpline is receiving, but our legal advisors are still responding to all calls within reasonable timescales.
  • We have now moved to homeworking for all of our staff and our offices have been closed to employees.
  • All UK and international business trips have been cancelled.
  • All internal and external meetings are being held using telephone and video conferencing.

Our Business Continuity Committee is monitoring the situation and, although we do not currently foresee any significant impact on our services, we will keep you informed if this changes. We are taking all reasonable precautions to ensure ARAG can continue to provide the service our customers expect.
