ARAG has been shortlisted in two different categories in the UK Customer Service Excellence Awards, to be presented at a ceremony in London, on March 23.

The nominations are for the Best Vulnerable Customer Initiative and Customer Experience in a Crisis awards, and both concern initiatives that ARAG undertook during the pandemic to help resolve some of the difficult circumstances created for policyholders by Covid-19.

Commenting on the announcement, Head of Claims Chris Millward said:

It’s always great to have our efforts acknowledged like this, but I’m particularly pleased that our teams have been recognised in this way, as both nominations concern solutions that they came up with, very quickly, to help resolve some very difficult situations that arose in the wake of Covid-19.

ARAG always strives to be both flexible and imaginative in our approach, but the way that our teams responded to unforeseeable situations, in the midst of a global crisis was a credit to them.

The UK Customer Service Excellence Awards are organised by Charlton Grant, publishers of Modern Insurance magazine.
