Landlord emergency insurance is designed to provide an emergency fix for a property to prevent damage, make sure it's secure, and reduce health risks to any tenants.
What does Landlord Emergency cover?
We offer 24-hour assistance within your property for many different emergencies. Depending on your cover, this could include:
- Roofing;
- Plumbing and drainage;
- Main heating system;
- Domestic power supply;
- Toilet damage;
- Insecure doors or windows;
- Lost or broken keys;
- Pest infestations.
If you have a broken boiler or something goes wrong with your plumbing, we’ll send a contractor around to temporarily fix the problem and make sure your home is safe and comfortable. Plus, we’ll cover the cost of the repairs, as well as the cost of hotel accommodation if your home is temporarily uninhabitable.
How do I get Landlord Emergency cover?
Landlord emergency cover may be included as part of a landlord legal expenses insurance product, either included automatically or as an optional extra. Which emergencies are covered may vary based on what your insurer offers; you can check this by reading your policy documents.
