The Purpose Coalition is a non-partisan organisation based in Westminster. It connects business leaders, Parliament and public sector organisations to develop solutions that boost opportunity and social mobility.
Led by former Cabinet Minister, Justine Greening, the Coalition brings national focus to key challenges including access to justice, education and economic growth.
Why it matters
Access to justice is essential for social mobility.
Unresolved legal problems can hold back families and small businesses, limiting opportunity and slowing economic progress.
Across the UK, organisations are working to address this challenge, including law centres, charities and legal professionals. However, these efforts are often not well connected, and awareness of legal expenses insurance remains low.
Reducing barriers to justice
Through the Insuring Justice project, we're helping highlight the role legal expenses insurance plays in improving access to legal advice and reducing barriers to justice.
