As the dust settles on BIBA 2026, we can reflect on another busy and productive few days in Manchester.
Held at Manchester Central on 13–14 May, the event once again brought together thousands of insurance professionals for two days of insight, discussion and networking.
This year’s theme, “Time:To”, focused on taking action, whether that means adapting to emerging risks or responding to the changing needs of customers and brokers.
ARAG had a strong presence at this year’s conference. Activity around the stand reflected a strong appetite among brokers to explore legal expenses and discuss how these can support their clients.
The event also provided valuable opportunities to reconnect with existing partners while meeting new faces from across the market. Conversations throughout the two days highlighted a continued focus on delivering added value to customers and navigating an evolving risk landscape.
Our Barista returned to the stand returned once again, offering visitors a chance to pause, connect and have more in-depth conversations away from the pace of the exhibition floor.
Beyond the exhibition itself, the wider BIBA programme delivered a range of high-profile speakers and thought-provoking sessions, reinforcing the event’s role as a key fixture in the insurance calendar. Across Manchester, the surrounding events and informal gatherings further underlined the importance of relationship building within the industry.
Looking ahead
As always, the real value of BIBA continues beyond the event itself. The focus now shifts to building on the conversations held, strengthening new connections and turning discussions into long-term partnerships.
Following a successful year, attention is already turning to how we can continue to evolve, and what BIBA 2027 will bring.
