Women in Finance Charter
Achieving gender balance
The Women in Finance Charter is owned by HM Treasury. It commits firms to supporting the progression of women into senior roles in the financial services sector.

By focusing on the executive pipeline and the mid-tier level; each firm should set its own targets and implement the right strategy for their organisation.
It requires firms to publicly report on progress to deliver against these internal targets to support the transparency and accountability needed to drive change.
Our target is to reach 50% representation by the end of December 2027.
We have 40% female representation in senior management roles (as of end August 2025).
How we're achieving gender balance
"When we signed up to the Charter in March 2021, we had 32% female representation in senior management and our target at this time was 50% by end of December 2025."
