Further to our most recent update, we wanted to keep you informed about the operation of our emergency assistance services during this exceptional time.

 

Both motor breakdown operators and home emergency contractors are still able to attend callouts under the current travel restrictions, so that they can continue to do their vital work.

New operational procedures have been introduced to ensure the safety of both our customers and the emergency operators themselves, as well as to minimise any potential risk of spreading the virus.

The procedures for reporting a motor breakdown or home emergency claim remain exactly the same, though wait times and the duration of calls may be slightly longer, as new processes have been introduced to identify and, where necessary, prioritise both vulnerable and potentially infected customers.

Emergency callouts may also take slightly longer than usual, as operators will be taking additional precautions while carrying out their work.

We will continue to keep our business partners and customers informed if the situation changes in any significant way.
